“I’m Blessed In This Mess!”
That’s more than a saying – it’s a life declaration from our founder, Beverly Kitchen Morris, a grandmother raising six grandchildren on her own.
In 2014, Beverly stepped in to care for her grandchildren due to CPS involvement. By 2017, she became a caregiver for a total of six children. Through heartbreak, hope, and hard-earned wisdom, she began advocating for other grandparents and kinship families who found themselves in similar situations-but without the support they desperately needed.
Our Mission:
To provide tangible support, emergency resources, and emotional encouragement to kinship families, grandparents raising grandchildren, single mothers, and individuals with disabilities, 365 days a year.
-
Too many grandparents, great-grandparents, and kinship caregivers are raising children with little to no financial help, emotional support, or legal guidance. Many have taken in kids overnight with no preparation—just love. IMPACT365 - OUR CITY - OUR WORLD was born to stand in the gap.
